I like this little multifunction product. It offered me a compact size at a compact price. The C545 offered the color faxing and the higher speed modem in the lower price range. Most other machines were higher. Heck... the C545 evens comes with the cable so you don't have to buy one. The print quality has been very impressive. I still belive that we are lowering the quality of something to make a multifunction unit. The scan quality is great, but a little slow. I down scan a lot and when I do i use a SCSI scanner.
The little C545 can benefit most home users or small home offices. I would not recommend this if it is going to be the main unit in a high volume office.
When I received the unit I went through the small black tank fairly quickly. If you do a high number of black and white prints, you should invest in a BC20. The paper capacity could be larger for my needs, but that is easy enough to get around.
