Pros: Great picture quality, cheap, canon, small, zoom
Cons: Red eye, flash time (absolutely slow!)
Ok this Canon has ups and it has downs. First off the price is right at 130 with free rechargeable batteries and a free 1 gb memory card this cannot be beat! Before purchasing I went to my local store and played around with several cameras. I realized this one took amazing pictures compared to other similarly priced cameras. The crispness that I experienced told me to buy it. So I did and we took it out of the box and plopped in the batteries. You must be aware that in order to take any pictures this has to have a memory card as it has NO internal memory. That was fine because we already had one come with it. We turned it on and started playing around with it without reading the manual. Ok, it takes some very nice pictures. Unfortunately when we took pictures of animals their eyes always came out red no matter what! There is a flash setting for red eye and that didn't really help all that much. The time it takes to actually take a picture was going to kill me. My old camera takes very little time it is pretty much push down the button and let go. This one you have to hold down the button and the flash takes awhile. This was slightly aggravating. We will have to read the manual to find out more but there are scenes you can choose from and other fun options. It takes a good picture BUT it takes a long time to take it!
