Well Vic,
If you don't see a problem with stealing customers from Epinions then at least we know where you stand.
You might be interested to know that according
to electronics leader dkozin, he has purchased over $10,300 worth of electronics products since August of 2005 that is in only two and a half months. So obviously there is profit in stealing Epinions shoppers and selling them cameras through Amazon.com.

First of all, the link you provided is for www.review-shop.com which is his own personal site. Now on his own site he can put whatever links he wants. Look at my website for instant. I have links for my reviews on there, and my ebay store etc... If I wanted I would put links to Amazon.com (if I ever sell there) because it is my site and no one can stop me from putting whatever links I want on it.
What if I sell the products I reviewed at epinions on my site? What then? Would you say I am driving traffic away from epinions? I know you would. But frankly, it is my site and I can put whatever I want on it. Just like dkozin.
You commented in another review that I am afraid that I will not get return rating or hats. Well if I wanted a hat I would have already contacted a CL and asked about the requirements. As for being afraid, I do not care if I get a return rate. All I care is that people read and benefit from my reviews.
As for the links being removed from dk's profile, I have not noticed it so I cannot say anything about it.
Maybe you should write an article about this whole issue of yours.

Did you look on the righthand side of the site?
Did you see the pictures of the cameras with a buy from Amazon.com button link underneath. Check again Vic, and keep in mind that if Epinions shoppers purchase through Amazon.com Epinions and the writers lose out, only dkozin and Amazon gain.

I think that link is for his own website to sell his the camera's he buys. It is not Amazon.com. I remember that a little while back someone commented that he should put a link to his ebay store on his profile. But I do not know what the problem is here.

The link was on his profile page until I posted a comment on his canon 610 and 620 reviews, my comments attracted your attention and he removed the link from his profile page. He is now pretending that the link was never there, but I copied his profile page!

Why did you change your profile page and remove a portion? Good thing I made a copy or people would think I was making this up.

I think sageandsavory is talking about the Amazon ad on top of you camera pages. But that is not on epinions... I dunno.
I guess more customers to epinions must mean more IS for us right? So I would definitely be against routing them to Amazon (if that is the case).
Again I am just pouring out my mind here.

2. You are being overly critical for someone who has not written one single review. Writing no reviews does not help Epinions, that is for sure.

to your site where shoppers buy cameras from Amazon. You get money from Amazon. You are taking shoppers away from Epinions so they can buy cameras from Amazon.
You claim you are bringing business to Epinions, but the reality is you take shoppers away, they purchase from Amazon! Epinions and the members lose. You get money from both Epinions and Amazon.
