runeatrepeat's Full Review: Canon PowerShot A620 Digital Camera
As I was shopping around for a compact digital camera I noticed that there was a 7.1 megapixel within my price range. High resolution is usually good, so I decided to consider getting it. And then I noticed that there was this reasonably sized (2.0") LCD screen that you can move around to do self portraits, shoot over crowds, etc.
The A620 runs off of 4 AA batteries and can last for a long time shooting, and even using the movie mode. You can use Alkaline , or NiMH rechargeable batteries.
This is the camera to get with a 4X optical, 16X digital zoom, 7.1 megapixels, 4 AA batteries, and even something you normally can't do with compact cameras, you can put on a wide angle or a telephoto lens.
