An old dog learning new tricks, had SLR's for many years, both were Canons. Had several other digitals, but need an upgrade, so I went to Canon. It was like coming home after a remodel. I just naturally fell into this one. Excellent photos, great choice of camera functions, ease of use, and no film development required. The video function is the best feature. I have a 2gb sd card in it, and have never filled it yet. Batteries last for ever with this pup. Took several cave tours in one day, lots of flash action, and the batteries needed changing once, over 400 pics 70% flash. Shutter lag????? My sd card is a 150X card, shutter worked like a SLR on a power winder. My wife was impressed because I was not cussing about this function or that. In short, I LOVE THIS CAMERA!!!!! The size is just right, it's sturdy as a SLR, even my wife can use it.
