Pros: Picture quality, image stabilization, design, features, zoom
Cons: No RAW mode, no super-wide angle (28mm), could come with rechargeable battery

After looking at what you seem to desire in a digital camera, let me recommend the Nikon Coolpix 5400. Having never used one, I can't personally recommend it but I have heard that it's a very good camera. It's a 5mp with a wide-angle lens and can be found online for only $400.
