My experience with this Canon Powershot digital camera so far is okay. The first time I used this camera was for my Son's fourth birthday. About 50% of the pictures I took came out blurry. Even the objects that were completely still. Very disappointing! :(
I bought this camera to replace my Sony that finally broke after 4 and a half years. It probably would of lasted longer, if my Friend won't of dropped it.
Most of the pictures I took outdoors came out great. I have already printed 4x6 prints at home and from walgreens. But I have notice that most of the pictures aren't that clear. I compare the prints from this Canon Sx120 to the ones I took with my Sony before it got broken. And I would like to say, "Sony still takes better quality photos.
I have hear that the more expensive the product the better quality you will get. That's why I thought this canon SX120 would be better since it was more expensive than the other I have tried. But so far. I am not impressed. I think I am going back to a Sony instead.
This camera came with two double AA batteries, software, USB Cable, Hand strap, 128 MB Memory card and Av Cable.
There is only four things I like about this camera is the way it looks physically. It looks very nice. The Canon Sx120 has lots of features. But what good are the features, if the pictures are so good. The second thing I like is the 10X optical zoom. This is the best feature! The third thing I also like is that it is very easy to upload pictures from this Canon Sx120 to any laptop or computer without installing the software that came with the camera. The fourth thing I like about my Canon Sx120 is the face detection feature. Whenever the pictures come out good this feature is the best.
Oh, there's one more thing I like. I also like the AV cable that comes with it. This let's you connect it to a television and view your pictures and video on tv. Just connect the Av to your camera and tv. Push the button to turn it on and start viewing.
Two other problems besides the blurry pictures. There is no playback sound if you want to review your video on the camera. And the screen sometimes has a couple of pink and light blue lines appear. It usually covers about 75% of the screen. I have never dropped this camera at all.
Also the camera is kind of bulky. The Batteries that came with it don't last long at all.
I have had this camera for about 2 and half weeks. I would not recommend this product. I don't think it's worth the $238, I paid for it. I thinking I am going to take it back this weekend.
Recommended: No
