So far the camera is okay, just okay. Better then most low end digital cameras out there, but for the price, I was less than pleased.
I bought this camera to replace my Nikon Coolpix. I don't remember which one, but I was not happy with the Nikon's quality of pictures (therefore, switching to Canon.)
Most of the outdoor shots came out splendid. The quality could be a little less blurry, (even when shooting completely still objects with a steady hand.) I would still have to say that this Canon outrated my Nikon.
In looking at the price, I thought I would be getting a much nice camera than I got. A little disappointed, but the camera is not bad!
This camera came with two double AA batteries, software, USB Cable, Hand strap, 128 MB Memory card and Av Cable.
The 10x optical zoom is my favorite part of this camera. I loved how far it could zoom without the quality deteriorating. Face Detection is also another great feature on this device.
The battery life entirely depends on what brand of rechargable alkaline batteries you purchase. The 2 AA batteries this Canon comes with were quickly replaced with some Duracell ones, which lasted much longer. The batteries it comes with do not last long at all.
I have had this camera for about 2 months. I would not recommend this product. I don't think it's worth the money paid for, (about $300 dollars at Target.)
Recommended: No
Amount Paid (US$): 235
This Camera is a Good Choice if You Want Something... Flexible Enough for Enthusiasts
