Pros: Quick "approval"
Cons: Once "approved" you and the seller commit, which puts them in control.
The Bottom Line: They do not give the service they promise. In fact, their service is poor.

They promise quick service, and give you a quick approval, but once you're committed to them you're on the hook. Getting new customers is a lot more important to Capital One than taking care of deals in progress.
Any tiny detail that they find unusual will put your application right back at the bottom of a very large pile. In my case, the owner and his wife had different surnames and were on title jointly.
I went been back and forth with Capital One for three days on this. When I phoned this morning to ask what was going on, they said the seller needed to fax the title to them. Never were we instructed to do so.
Now I have just found out the seller gave up on me and sold the car of my dreams to somebody else.
Use your bank, your line of credit, or even your credit cards and pay off your loan quickly. But unless your seller is prepared to wait a week or so AFTER giving you a lot of detail about themselves and their car title, forget Capital One.
Oh yes, and their "customer support" people can be quite snappy. I'll bet they are juggling hundreds if not thousands of unhappy campers. They won't have me to juggle around any more.
