finally brewing into thermos carafe
Written: Feb 19 '02
Pros:stylish look, great coffee
Cons:the price......
The Bottom Line: if you can afford it this is a good investment
I needed a new coffee machine.
There were lots of choices. I had thought about one that could grind and brew on a timer and into a thermos carafe.
But I could not find one with the grinder and reconsidered because I like to control how fine my beans are ground. I just felt like I could not trust a machine with that.
So the next best thing was the timer and the carafe.
The Capresso is a stainless steel machine. Really snazzy looking.
But what I really like is the way that the top opens to give you access to the water tank and the filter basket.
It has a stopper that kind of props it open. Really practical.
The brewing happens on time.
The coffee tastes GREAT, better than with my old machine.
The carafe works wonderfully. No more wasted coffee.
The price is steep, but hey stainless steel lasts and looks good for a long time to come.
