Pros: 1. Not fishy tasting (enteric coated)
2. Small capsules
3. Lots of DHA & EPA
Cons: They don't offer a children's fish oil product that my kids could take.
I have been a CardioTabs customer for a couple of years now. I currently take their CardioTabs Omega-3 fish oil along with their vitamin. I started taking fish oil about 10 years ago when I started learning about all of the heart benefits along with a slew of other things. Heart disease runs in my family so I thought I’d give it a try. I tried many different brands, but I had no luck. They were either too fishy or the pills were too large that I could not swallow them. My friend referred me to this company, after I told her that I quit taking fish oil.
I have never had any problems with their products or the company. I usually place my order online, but sometimes I call it in too and receive great service. I like that the products are created by doctors, and that they donate proceeds to research and education. The price is $34, and is higher than some of the other supplements, but it is well worth it for what you get. One bottle lasts me 2 months, if I take 3 of the capsules a day, but you could take 2 capsules and have it last 3 months. Another thing that is important to me and probably to others as well, is that the bottle states that the oil is purified so I don't have to worry about mercury or PCBs. I would definitely recommend this company to everyone out there looking for a quality product.
2 capsules have 700 mg Omega-3 or 470 mg DHA and 180 mg EPA
