I stayed at the Caribe Royale during peak travel season in February of 2004. The rooms and amenities surpassed my expectations. The rooms were large enough for a small family and each room has a whirlpool in the bathroom. The resort was very spacious, and the pool with rocks and waterfalls surrounded by well-groomed landscaping and palm trees can be viewed from all rooms facing the courtyard. Service was excellent, and there was a good mix of families, couples and business travelers. Because the amenities were laid out so well, it was impossible to step-on anyone else’s toes. The resort offers a well-equipped and spacious conference center. The Caribe Royale is close to Disney and everything else in Orlando. The hotel also has a gift shop, 2 restaurants, bar, a snack bar and buffet (these, however, are somewhat pricey).
