Cons: Poorly kept room, service, price.
The Bottom Line: Avoid this place and stay at the Holiday Inn Family Suites a few blocks down (877) 387-5437. They have better rooms and a better price.

We were unhappy to find our room in disrepair upon arrival. The sheets and blanket on one queen bed had holes in them, The walls had crayon marks on them, silly string stuck to them, pieces of colored ribbon taped to them and wallpaper peeling in the bathroom. The toilet seat was stained brown. The shower curtain was old and stained, The shower grout was moldy. The chrome ring around the shower head pipe was all dented and hanging away from the wall. Finally the TV kept making random loud buzzing sounds. I reported most of these problems to the main desk Tuesday March 2nd, after our first nights stay. The woman behind the desk said they would be taken care of. The toilet seat and shower curtain were replaced and the chrome wring was pushed back against the wall, but nothing else was fixed. There was a note saying the TV was checked and no problem found. The TV continued to make the sound even after being replaced several days later...the TV has to be on for awhile before it makes the noise. We were gone all day visiting Disney on Tuesday March 2nd and didn't return until late in the evening that day. There was a voice message on our phone from the woman I had spoken to at the front desk, and she said the hotel wanted to have us change rooms. It was late, we have 4 small kids, tons of luggage and were settled in. Our stay in Florida had already included one night at the Hyatt in the Orlando International Airport and 3 nights at Cocoa Beach, we were tired of moving our stuff. We did not spend thousands of dollars and countless hours preparing for this vacation to spend our time in Florida shuffling our luggage from room to room trying to find a good one. The first room they placed us in should have been adequate. I did not respond back to the telephone message.The real problem here is that the room should never have been offered to anyone in that condition. Cleaning staff is in there daily, and for them to not notice and report the disrepair of the room speaks loudly of the quality level of this hotel. If all the rooms are in that state they are misrepresenting the quality of this hotel on their web site. The lobby area was beautiful and so well kept in comparison to our room.We won't stay here again.
