| RebeccaZ's Full Review: Carrabba's Italian Grill |
My mom introduced me to Carrabba's. We had moved out of town and she wanted to treat us to a new restaurant in our hometown. Carrabba's was the place!
First impressions mean a lot. And the minute you walk through the door you are assaulted with the pungent smells of fresh Italian food. The decor is very tasteful and the tables are large enough to accomodate diners and their plates.
Now about that bread. Lots of Italian places serve free bread as an appetizer, but Carrabba's is served warm with this wonderful olive oil laced with fresh herbs. It is to die for! I crave that bread alone!
They have a wonderful selection of entrees that are complimented with an array of tasty sides. The garlic mashed potatoes are another hit with my family! The prices on their entrees are very reasonable, and the quanity of food leaves plenty to take home. Especially to leave room for their desserts.
I don't usually order desserts out, but once one of our entrees was messed up. So our waitress brought out a doggie bag of a chocolate dessert. This dessert was more than delicious. It tops the scale in the chocoholic's list of favorites!
Overall, everyone should try this place at least once...I guarantee you'll be back for more!
