Pros: THUMBS UP FROM OSAGE COUNTY FIRST GRADE
Cons: NONE NOTED
NOTE: as with many of the items I review in this category the items are not toys, games, game pieces, game devices, game machines or office supplies or Software per se, rather, these are resources produced by an education, school, instruction centered publisher; and are classroom type materials intended for use with Early Childhood and older age Elementary students in both public school or home school setting as well as for use by parents who are working to help their children with learning content areas.
This product is a 50 page notepad.
Carson Dellosa™ Publishing Company Incorporated Novel School Bus shaped Notepad measuring 5.25 x 8 inches is a pleasurable addition for our Osage County First Grade cache of goodies for use in the classroom.
Fashioned via use of top-quality, acid and lignin free papers, having a smooth, non smear surface for ease of writing, crafted of carefully selected raw materials to conform to industry and governmental regulations pertaining to materials expected to be used in situations where young children can be expected to be and imprinted using non toxic, blotch and mess free inks; these are dandy used for writing notes to office or elsewhere as well as given for attaboy type awards for Little Learner pinning boards.
Just what the doctor ordered for homework notes, reminders, notes to Little Learners, calendar notes, bus pass, name tags, and whatever imagination dictates; these bright yellow buses feature dual wheels, rear stop and caution lights, dome lights and a whole array of smiling little faces peering back to the drivers following behind as Little Learners travel to school for a brand new day.
First is seen a little blond boy holding crayons and a small stack of books, next we see a golden haired little girl her upswept hair do graced with a pink polka dot hair bow matching the pink long sleeve we see along with her waving hand. The next little green shirted boy holds a magenta book while wearing a red and green ball cap, and his neighboring friend sends a friendly hook ‘em horns hand. This eye glasses wearing lad is clad in a purple shirt in his other hand he is holding an apple. Last we see a perky little lavender shirted girl holding crayons. Her upswept do is held in place with lavender bands.
Osage County First Grade uses laminated, shaped, notepad pages for sorting and counting as well as for game cards. I write single letters, blends, digraphs and diphthongs as well as numerals, equations, or whatever curriculum area we are working on at the moment and leave the pages on the reinforcement work table for Little Learners to use during Partner strengthening work following instruction period of the lesson.
Spot on for so many classroom needs; I particularly like objects that are reasonably priced. As do many teachers, I buy the largest part, if not all, my own personal classroom supplies, as well as many of those needed for student usage. Cost is always overriding when I look for materials; I know I can count on CD items to be hard-wearing, clever, nicely designed and cost-effective. Each element is an important factor for me.
Note: I do haunt summer sales searching for those mark down items as retailers try to reduce present stock to make way for new fall items.
Notepads are an indispensable item for the teacher’s work area stores; I like them to be enjoyable, motivating, attention-grabbing and kid pleasing.
Happy to recommend Carson Dellosa™ Publishing Company Incorporated Novel School Bus shaped Notepad.
