| fitgirluk's Full Review: Caruso Professional Proset Steam Hairsetter |
Caruso hair setter stinks! I have 3 ft of hair and I've used every styling product out there. I tried the original Caruso hair setter back when you added salt to it, the salt helped keep the curl longer. The new Caruso is awful, it leaves your hair damp, the instructions say to blow dry it, which to me defeats the purpose. The clip that you use to hold the roller leaves your hair with a dent in it. I've only had my Caruso for a week and it stopped working, this is the 3rd one I've bought..I will never buy another one. Now I have to pay for shipping to send it back. Pain in the Azz! Seriously don't spend the money. I use a steam curling iron, it works really well. It's only $12.00 dollars, well worth the money. My hair is VERY long and VERY thick, so you can trust me when I say it works and holds the curl a long time, I can wake up the next morning and my hair will still be curled. Another trick I use sometimes is..I curl my hair and then if it's going to be awhile before leaving the house, I take those pink foam curlers and when I curl my hair with a hair setter I take the hot roller out and then roll my hair with the pink foam roller, I know it sounds like a lot of work, but by the time I leave my house, my curl is set and it looks really good. Hope this helps you.
