This is one in a long line of PDA's it all started with a Psion C then to a series 5 then to a Clio then a Palm VX and finally the Casio.
The size (thicknes)is a little larger than the Palm VX but the features and compatability is worth it. Battery life is good I get threw an 8 hr day with power to spare. I still have a hard time reading the color screen in sunlight, palm has got that market cornered. overall features such as the standard windows stuff feels like home to me and syncs perfectly with my desk top programs such as word, outlook, notepad, money, excell, mediaplayer. The Casio Cassiopeia EM-500 comes with a casio version of contacts and calander which is nice but I perfer the microsoft stuff better unfortunatly the Casio apps cannot be removed from the device. With the product you recieve a cdrom with other apps such as a movie viewer and some games. The movie viewer does work but you need to free up memory. The device only comes with 16mb of ram which I don't feel is enough and the flash media for storage is new, small and exspensive ($100.00 for 32mb) which you will need in order to cary music or videos with you. The windows ce operating system works well but need some work it is a little hard to navigate and to close programs.
I feel the Casio is a little expensive but a great product for the professional on the go or someone who wants to be organized.
