Pros:Cat activation. Quiet timer operation. Super cleaner cartridge.
The Bottom Line: The 60 unit was somewhat of a dissipointment it did get us through a tough time with our cat. The 120 has many improvements and uses less supplies.
This is the second Cat Genie that we have owned. The original 60 unit was purchased for a 18 year old cat we had that was very ill. We could not keep up with all the litter changes necessary so the Genie was a wonderful thing. About a year and a half after our purchase the cat had to be put down and we went about a year before getting a new cat. During the first year and a half the Genie was mostly trouble free. After we got the new cat the genie started having mechanical problems and clogging up. No one ever advised that we could use a powdered super cleaning package with the model 60. I believe that we could have eliminated allot of problems if we knew about that super cleaner.

We traded up to a Genie 120 in January of 2011. It has worked flawlessly and I expect that it will be a much better product than the old 60 model. We received credit for the upgrade which helper some on the price. The Cat Activation works great and the quiet timer operation keeps it from starting up and running while you are sleeping. The Super Cleaning cartridge seems to work well but only time will tell since the 120 is only about six months old.
