Pros: The sensuality of this perfume will surprise you
Cons: A bit pricy, but sexiness comes with a price.
The sexily rounded bottle of this fragrance caught my eye as I wandered through the maze of cosmetic counters in the Marshall Fields in downtown Minneapolis. Never before had I been attracted to Chanel's fragrances. Chanel was for women of my mother's generation. I remembered fondly a story she related to me one cold, winter day of a present from my dear father -- a bottle of Chanel no. 5, that love potion housed in its signature square bottle.
I tested this round bottle out. I sprayed some on my wrist, and wandered around a bit more, allowing the vapors to coalesce with the chemistry of my skin. The sweet, yet spicy scent reminiscent of a flavorous Indian sweet I once had consisting of apples and chilies permeated my nose. I simply had to purchase this fragrance.
After paying around $40 for 1.7 oz. of pure sensuality, I walked out of the story, happy as a camper stuffed full of roasted marshmallows.
According to Chanel's marketing ploy regarding this scent, I'm the perfect candidate for this fragrance geared towards young women. I'm young, I dare to dream, I take chances, and yes, I am indeed the pure essence of surprising femininity.
Perfect for a night out on the town, daring for those who choose to wear it to the office, this scent is a perfect combination of sweet and spicy smells. Several sprays to the wrist and neck will turn the wearer into one sensual lady. Potent when first applied, this fragrance soon transforms into a sexy aroma, and lasts all night long.
This perfume contains an interesting combination of Hyacinth, White Musk, Pink Pepper, Jasmine, Fresh Vetiver, Citrus, Iris and Amber of Patchouli.
Try this perfume if you're up for taking a chance.
