Pros: Don't have to use much, Fragrance, Lasting
Cons: A little pricey, but you get what you pay for!
I first received Chanel No 5 Bath Oil in a sample. I decided to try it out one night when I was out of my usual Bath & Body Works and I was amazed!! Not only did this leave my bathroom smelling sweet and sassy, but it also worked well on me. The smell was so calming and inviting, I took a longer bath than normal. After my bath, I noticed that my skin felt a little and I mean very little oily, but with in minutes of drying off, drying my hair, getting dressed, I noticed a huge difference in my skin! This really moisturized all over. Not only did it smell heavenly, it really softened my skin. I lay in a tanning bed and my skin tends to be thirsty Chanel No 5 Bath Oil did wonders for my dry skin.
I did find that it only takes a few drops of this per bath which is wonderful because even though its expensive, the bottle will last through many baths! I knew that when my little sample bottle was gone, I had to purchase more.
A Little Information From The Chanel No 5 Bath Oil Bottle:
Innovative tri-phase formula contains emollients, moisturizers and conditioners. The three pastel layers combine when shaken into a blend of pampering treatment that softens, hydrates, soothes and scents.
History About Chanel No 5 Products:
It is said that Ernest Beaux found the olfactory inspiration for N?5 around 1920, on his return from a military campaign that had taken him inside the Arctic Circle. During the midnight sun, the lakes and the rivers give off a very special fresh fragrance, which the perfumer was determined to recreate.
In an interview given at the airport in Japan, Marilyn Monroe told a reporter that all she wore in bed was a few drops of N?5. The anecdote played a large part in sustaining the legendary reputation of the fragrance.
N?5 is immortalized as an icon of the 20th century in a series of nine silkscreen prints by Andy Warhol. In 1959, the packaging secured a place for N?5 in the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
