Pros:Sounds really good with a device that supports A2DP. Wireless. Not cans on ears.
Cons:Look ma, I'm wearing two bluetooth headsets connected by a wire.
The Bottom Line: Looks odd, but sounds great.
The Lubix Stero Bluetooth Headset LC1 first caught my attention through it's convenience factor. I hate to untangle my headphones with my music player and sometimes I'd like to walk around without it.
My first impressions were that these are a bit bigger than I expected, but still much smaller than most of the can-looking bluetooth headphones out there. I paired it with my Sprint PPC-6700 WM5 phone and my Dell laptop. It worked great with my Dell 1505 - actually the sound was unbelieveably good. I could not tell the difference between the LC1 and a corded headphone.
I have many high end earbud style headphones, including sony's highest-end open earbuds with bio-something diaphrams, aiwa's sapphire evaporated diaphrams and sony's closed ear type. The LC1's are competitive when listing over my laptop.
One of the buttons on the device chooses between many modes of sound processing. I prefer the 3D panorama (wide) setting for a fuller sound.
Most mobile phones that are designed for bluetooth heaphones should sound great, though I don't have one to try out. I used my Sprint PPC-6700, which required some hacks to get it to work. While the LC1's still sounded good, there was a bit of high pitched noise. I've read common problems with all bluetooth headphones with the PPC-6700, since they were not designed for bluetooth headphones.
The LC1 has a blue OLED display that will show incoming calls from the mobile phone as well as display the volume, battery and operational mode (forward, back, play/pause, stop) for music.
Buttons include volume, sound mode change, connect, call, redial, voice dial, forward, back, play, stop and pause.
Functionally, I felt peculiar wearing the headphone as a necklace let alone looking odd with these on my ears. It looks like I'm wearing two bluetooth headsets.
Battery life is roughly 8-10 hours and charging should be a couple hours; although, the first charge took more than 10 hours.
