For the last 10 years, I have owned a kettle style grill. It was very hard to regulate temperature and because of that I didn't try to grill much more than steak on it. Well, the ash pan finally rusted through and there was no replacement available. I purchased the Char-griller Wrangler and I am LOVING it!

I have owned it for about two months now and I have grilled steaks, burgers, chicken and even corn on the cob. It is very easy to keep the temperature consistent and the onboard temperature gauge lets you know if you need to add more coals. I have found that with the same amount of coals, this grill will stay hot for much longer than my old grill saving me money on charcoal. There are also adjustable vents on the chimney and the firebox to allow fine control over airflow and thereby temperature of the fire.
This grill has about 600 square inches of cooking surface which is more than plenty for my family of 3 and I have cooked for up to 5 or 6 people without running out of room. The included warming rack is a nice addition for toasting buns or keeping things warm, but it interferes with the adjustable height charcoal pan when the lid is closed and it seems a bit "wobbly".
Speaking of the asjustable charcoal pan, I love this feature as well, because I can move it very close to the naturally non-stick cast iron grates to sear meat and then lower it to finish cooking slowly. The cast iron grates are very non-stick (if seasoned properly) and will only get better with time. They are seperated into 3 pieces and the grill includes a tool to raise them in order to add or rearrange your coals.
The build quality is great overall, but it does leak around the gap where the lid meets the base and I can see that this would be an issue with smoking, but for grilling it doesn't seem to have any adverse affect. The wheels also seem a bit chincy for the quality of the rest of the grill.
In summary, this is the best grill that I have owned and has definitely expanded by grilling capabilities.
