Pros: Family fun having everyone take part in preparing the fresh tasting pizzas.
Cons: None. The fun is worth any mess you may have to clean up.
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this pizza because you control the fat by choosing own cheeses, everyone can fix their favorite toppings and family has fun together.

| Dunkjam's Full Review: Chef Boyardee Two Cheese Pizza Kit |
My entire family enjoys eating Chef Boyardee Pizza Kit. We prefer purchasing the cheese pizza so we can add our own toppings to the pizzas. I always purchase the Family Size box so we can make two different pizzas. My granddaughters like to help me cook, so we all have a part in making this tasty pizza. The first thing I do is turn on the oven so it will be heating up to 200 degrees F. Then I get my helpers to warm the sink water til it is very warm water. I place all of the flour into a large mixing bowl and the girls take turns adding in the 1 1/3 cups of warm water. It is then my turn to gently stir the dough with a fork until all of the flour is moisten and I can form a soft ball. Then I rub a little Wesson oil over the ball of dough and cover it with a towel and place it in the warm oven (which has been turned off). I do not want to cook the dough, just get it to rise for five minutes.
The next step is for both of my girls to have cleanly washed hands and spread a little Crisco using a paper towel to prepare both baking sheets. You can also use Pam spray if you want to. Then it is time to take the dough out of the oven. At this time I put the oven temperature on 425 degrees F. Everyone has their hands slightly coated with oil and I divide the dough evenly into two pizza pans. The girls get to spread the dough out onto the baking sheets. Then we open the can of pizza sauce and using a spoon, we spread very carefully the sauce onto the bread trying not to make any holes in the pizza bread. Then we open up the Grated Parmesam cheese which came in the box and sprinkle it over both pizzas. Since this is definitely not enought cheese for my family, we open up a bag of Kraft Mozerrela chopped and put it over both pizzas. We usually put sliced pepperoni on one pizza and then some olives or cut up onions on the other one.
The pizzas bake for approximately twenty minutes, turning once halfway through the cooking cycle. We usually make our pizzas very big and thin because we like the thin crust.
Not only do you get a delicious pizza, you can choose what you want on your pizza or just on your slice of pizza. Some other items we have put on our pizzas are green peppers, hot banana peppers, and cut up cooked sausages.
Homemade box pizzas just have a very fresh baked flavor. I grew up with Chef Boyardee Pizzas when I was a little girl and we would prepare them at our sleepovers. This is one tradition I want to share with my granddaughters, too.
