That's a phrase that you could be saying if you take the time to learn the game using this chess board ... It's amazingly simple to use and it takes the guess work out of playing this age old game of strategy and time ... If you stick with it and practice once or twice a day, you should be a "Beginner" within a few days
LIKES
. The moves of each piece are printed right on the front and back of each piece so that the person using them and their opponent know how every separate piece should move
. The fact that the moves of each "character" are printed on the front and back make it so that 2 people can learn to play simultaneously
. Makes the game easier to learn for children and adults of all ages
DISLIKE
. That this game is considered a "toy" ... I don't really understand that because it is actually a board game
LENGTH OF INTEREST
. For children, this game will interest them as long as their parents and friends keep it interesting ... Since chess is a 2 player game, a child can't play by themselves; they can only learn ... Parents and friends need to present a challenge and fun to keep them interested in learning the game
. For adults, it's actually the exact same scenario ... After you've learned how to play, you need an opponent to test your knowledge and skill against
IN CLOSING
. Believe it or not, chess can actually be a fun or relaxing game ... it's nice to sit down and play against somebody because there really isn't any talking ... It allows you to build your concentration skills because you have to focus on your next move and try to predict your competitors' upcoming moves
. I've played for years and at one point I was happy that I was within the top 250 players in the U.S. and I had the chance to win a few tournaments playing for my high school
. If you don't know how to play chess, or you've been wanting to learn; this is the product for you ... It allows you to learn quickly and effectively while developing your style and game play
