I have always had had hair that was extra, extra thick, curly at the front and straight at the back. That might sound ok, but it came with a sidedish of frizz-my hair was puffy, puffy, puffy, and was really staticy all the time. Then my friend told me about the Chi and I HAD to try it. I boght it and on the first try I was hooked. It not only straightened but it defrizzed,which made my hair look much less thick (thank god), and it gave moisture and shine to my normally dry hair. It was amazing! It has given me the hair I've only dreamed about- I no longer considered geoing bald and wearing a wig or anything like that-above all shampoos and sprays and hair prodocts that never worked, this works! I have had it for a long time, and it still works great! Just one pass through the hair and it's straight, silky and sleek and loaded with shine. I highly reccomend it
