Pros: Good food. Good service.
Cons: Noisy, crowded, small portions, high prices.
The Bottom Line: Would not recommend this restaurant. The portions were way too small for the price you paid. It was too noisy and crowded. Very disappointed overall.

| rbnelson's Full Review: Chow Restaurant - Lafayette |
I went to Chow Restaurant in Lafayette for lunch with a group of friends. One of my friends had suggested we go there. She told me to expect large portions and good food.
When we arrived, Chow was packed and very noisy. My first thought was that this was not a very good place to have a relaxing lunch with friends. After looking over the menu, the waiter at Chow encouraged me to order the large size Thai Chicken Salad. He led me to believe that it was going to be so large I would not be able to finish it. When I was served, my salad was the same size as my friend's except she had ordered the medium portion. Mine came in a bowl to make it look bigger, hers was on a plate. I pointed this out to the waiter who promptly took my salad away. It was some time before he returned. The salad he brought back had a few more pieces of lettuce and that was it.It was definitely not what I expected for a $12.00 salad. There was no bread on the table, just one small piece placed in my salad bowl. I'm afraid I left there hungry.
Overall, the food was good but the portion size for the price was a disappointment. Everything on the menu was very expensive and I felt that I did not get my money's worth. You would do better at the Cheesecake Factory!
I will not be returning to Chow and I will not recommend it to friends.
