Pros:makes my hair feel soft and clean, doesn't tangle near as much.
Cons:Clairol is dicontinuing it-because it is not making enough money for them!!!
The Bottom Line: I would recommend it and have BUT Clairol is NO LONGER making it, took it off the market!!
For many years I have had long thin/fine hair. I always wished it was just a little thicker. I never cared for the curly look. All my siblings have thick wavy hair. I love my hair but always had a terrible time with detangling it after washing. I never liked the straw feeling many gels and spritz leave. It took me a very long time to fine a product that really worked with my hair. When I came across and used Clairol Daily Defense Tender Apple Shampoo and Tender Apple Conditioner, I was amazed! Daily Defense Apple did help on the tangles also.

I do love the wonderful results I get. I have used it for about 5-6 years. Everyone I've recommended it to has agreed and said the same thing on noticing how soft their hair was and felt clean.

Packaging and Pricing:
Clairol Daily Defense Shampoos and Conditioners are packaged and sold in 13.5 oz. white bottles which have a lavender and blue Daily Defense logo on them. It bears a picture of an apple which refers to the tender apple scent. I dont find the scent of any use or offensive, but it is not defensive to me either. It kind of goes away after my hair is dry. It has sold at approximately $1.97 a bottle. Try these other Daily Defense shampoos and conditioners to get soft, clean hair at a great value
Ginseng Boost, Tropical Aloe and Water Lily. It is made by Clairol and distributed by Proctor & Gamble.
I'm very upset and disgusted that Clairol decided to discontinue the product line ONLY because it "wasn't making enough money" for them. It's their ONLY product that makes my hair feel clean and soft when I finish. I bought these products faithfully. This is just a money issue for Clairol and their associates. They seem more concerned about all their other hair coloring products that are making them money. Their other products are more expensive then what Daily Defense was.
I tried their other brands they recommended and they did NOT give me the same results. They don't care about what does work for people. Everyone IS different. They force people what they want us to-not what the customer wants.
I was recommending these products to friends and family, boasting about them. Now, the Daily Defense line is discontinued. I am forced to look for another product. It will not be Clairol.
