The Product
Herbal Essences Fruit Fusions Revitalizing Shampoo is packaged in a clear plastic bottle with a green, flip-top cap. There is a picture in the back of the bottle with pomegranates. The front picture depicts all three fruits: pomegranate, lychee, and persimmons. (As an aside, all three fruits are DELICIOUS!) The 25.4 oz bottle is large, but still easy to grip in the shower. The shampoo is healthy-intestine colored pink and is a good shampoo consistency. The 25.4 oz bottle of shampoo sells for about $6 when not on sale and is available at many stores such as Target and Walgreens.

Directions:

My Experience
Herbal Essences Fruit Fusions Revitalizing Shampoo smells very sweet! If you do not like strong, sweet fragrances, avoid this shampoo. When I dispensed some of the shampoo into my palm, I immediately noticed the strong, fruity scent. I can’t really tell if there is a mixture of pomegranate, lychee, and persimmon scent, but the scent is definitely fruity. When I began to work the shampoo into my hair, I noticed that the scent began to dissipate. The shampoo lathers up very well and rinses away with ease.

After blow drying my hair, I took a look at my hair. What a surprise! I didn’t think the shampoo would do much; I just figured that it smelled nice (which it did) and looked pretty (in the bottle). My hair was glowing. The shine didn’t look greasy, it looked very healthy. My hair felt softer and a smidgen silkier. There was no residue feeling in my hair; my hair felt very light and airy. I could not detect any hint of the fruitiness of the shampoo. No lychee, persimmon, or pomegranate scent!

I found that with long term use, the Herbal Essences Fruit Fusions Revitalizing Shampoo did not dry out my scalp. My scalp tends to be flaky; sometimes it likes a shampoo and sometimes it will revolt and dry out. With Herbal Essences Fruit Fusions Revitalizing Shampoo, my scalp maintained its healthy condition throughout daily use of the shampoo.
