While the matching shampoo bottle can also rest upside down on the flip top lid just as the conditioner bottle does, this one actually has the product advertising printed "upside down" to so that it's really right side up when stored in that position. Goodbye, dry! My hair is longer than shoulder length and although I have alot of it, each strand is very fine in texture. That means serious tangling after shampooing if an effective conditioner is not used. So while sometimes any old shampoo will do in a pinch, not so with the conditioners I choose. I usually wash my hair every other day, so that means I use conditioner every other day, too. After wringing out the excess water from my clean hair in the shower, I apply a generous amount of this conditioner from roots to ends: more to the dry ends and less to the roots to prevent a major case of the "greasies". I then pile my hair coated in conditioner on the top of my head for it all to soak in while I then lather up my body and then do any required shaving of body hair. After 3 to 5 minutes, I rinse the conditioner out and then blow dry and style after. My hair is left soft to the touch and most of all, much easier to detangle. It looks healthy, beautiful, and bouncy without feeling weighed down as the conditioner rinses clean away. And finally, I can't leave out the heavenly coconut scent that reminds me of lazy beach days every time I use it. So even though I use a generous amount (probably a good palm full) every other day, the large bottle of this Clairol Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Moisturizing Conditioner lasts well over a month, so it's very economical at the same time.
