| missjen's Full Review: Clairol Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Shampoo |
I have naturally very curly hair that already struggles with frizz and dryness, and I live in the desert. Translation: recipe for hair disaster.
I have tried tons of different "moisturizing" hair care products--from expensive, salon products to grocery store buys. I like other Herbal Essences products but they stopped making my favorite so I decided to give this one a try. Though I have curly hair, I choice the hydration line over the curls line, in an attempt to get some relief from the intense dryness that a summer full of 100+ degree temperatures brings. I bought it and the conditioner and use both together, every day.
After a week and a half of use, my hair is so touchably soft, and so much more manageable than it's ever been. It also has a new shine and my curls are sleek and defined, rather than frizzy and wayward. I receive compliments all the time, and for the first time in a long time, I'm happy with my hair.
My dry, itchy scalp that I get every summer from this desert dryness has reduced dramatically, as has breakage from dried out hair.
The shampoo smells nice and produces a nice, rich lather, making it easy to comb through your entire hair and scalp with just a small amount of product. The bottles are generously sized but moderately priced, making this an excellent buy for those who want nice looking hair, but who don't have endless funds to spend on products.
