Pros: Great smell, lasting amount, cheap price ($3)
Cons: Flaking, weighs hair down
The Bottom Line: I would not recommend this product. I would, however, recommend the new Herbal Essences Natural Volume mousse.

| mikeysazulita's Full Review: Clairol Herbal Essences Styling Mousse |
I've been using Clairol Herbal Essences for years, since I was a teen with acne and my dermatologist recommended that I use water-based styling aids. I love the smell of Herbal Essences products.
That being said, I don't believe this Mousse is that great. The hold was okay, but only if you use large amounts, and that will only increase the flaking, and the crunchy effect your hair gets when you use too much of any styling product. If this happens, your hair will lose its natural moisture and begin to feel like paper. Also, my hair felt heavy and weighed-down.
I used this mousse for months and it had a terrible effect on my hair due to the stickiness and loss of moisture. I was hoping Herbal Essences would come out with other mousses. Luckily for me, they came out with their new Natural Volume line (yellow bottles). That works MUCH better and it gives GREAT volume with less stickiness and so-so flaking (if you don't wash your hair every two days).
