| MamaSaid's Full Review: Clairol Infusium 23 Original Leave In Treatment fo... |
Since my two children, my hair has changed immensely and it has become almost impossible to style or to find effective styling products. My once straight, shiny hair has developed into extremely curly, difficult to manage and sometimes voluminously frizzy. To add to this, I now need to color my hair more frequently because of additional grey.
I have tried many leave-in treatments and since I was unimpressed with this line of shampoos and conditioners, I was truly reluctant to try this. Frugal as I am, I hooked up a sample from a freebie website and it is one of the rare freebies I have actually purchased.
The product is actually a liquid with a watery consistency. It feels as if it certainly is too thin to made any noticeable change to your hair, especially if it is as dense as mine. Not the case. It is quite effective in smoothing and conditioning your hair, taming frizzies and making your hair more manageable overall. Continued use daily, in both wet and dry hair, maximizes the positive effects of this leave-in treatment. The smell is fresh and pleasant and is light enough not to interfere with your fragrance. The treatment even contains Panthenol, a vitamin B complex used in many such products, and that I find usually increases the benefits the products have on your hair.
Overall, I was surprisingly pleased with the great effect this product has on my hair and would definitely recommend it to a friend.
