I have been using this product for several years, as have my mother and sister. At this point, I am not sure if I could survive without it. When I forget to bring this product on overnight trips and have to substitute or go without my hair is generally limp, frizzy, and unmaneagable.
Infusium 23 on General
This leave-in treatment is part of a line of products that also includes shampoo, revitalizing conditioners. Some more intense products such as hair masks are part of the line as well. Leave in Treatment for damaged/unmanageable hair
This particular product is part of the Original line for damaged/unmanageable hair. I usually buy it in the large size, 33.8 ounces. I got this last bottle for around seven dollars, and it has lasted me four months and probably has a couple more weeks to go. The product recently changed its look to include color-coding by hair type and now has a brown lid and writing on a white bottle for the Original formula. The other colors (red, silver, green, and blue) are now for other types of hair, so I always have to double check that I got the right one.
According to the bottle, this type is intended for hair that is damaged from chemical processes or styling appliances, or hair that is naturally long, thick, or wavy and requires special treatment. Personally, I don’t put a lot of strain on my hair but I still find it becomes damaged easily. I highlight once a year in the winter months, and use a curling iron about every three days. My sister uses many more styling products, but we both find this product useful so I feel it is good for hair ranging from slightly to very damaged. According to the bottle, this product will infuse hair with 23 essential pro-vitamin and treatment ingredients to correct, restore, and structure damaged, hard-to-manage hair.
Using the Product
This product is intended to be used on clean hair. The instructions say it is for use on wet or dry hair, but I use it only on mine when it is wet. You just kind of squirt it on top of your head, but be careful because it is a liquid, not a cream. After rubbing the treatment throughout hair, you can style as usual. I enjoy this product because it makes a great detangler after the shower. My hair becomes very tangled, and if I don’t use this leave-in treatment it is impossible for me to run my fingers or a comb through my hair without tangling it.
The results I have had from this product have been fabulous. My hair is healthy an manageable, but it is never flat at the roots. My hair is fine but I have a lot of it, so often leave in conditioners have left me with a greasy feel. Not this one! Particularly when I used to swim a lot, I think this product has done a lot to help improve the condition and manageablility of my hair. It reduces those frizzy little hairs that stick up on my head when the weather is humid as well. I am thrilled with this product, and its relatively low price. I have no intention of switching any time soon.

Obviously I am thrilled with this product, as everyone in my family has been using it for years. When I get a haircut and style, I hate the weight that the professional leave in conditioners and styling products give to my hair, so I often end up rushing home to rewash and style my hair using Infusium 23 Leave-In Treatment! If you want a great detangler and treatment product for damaged hair at a reasonable price, this is a great bet!
