I have been plagued with dark circles ever since I was a little girl. I have even had people tell me in later years that they remembered me as a little girl having such dark circles. If that was not bad enough, I have spent my early twenties searching for an eye cream that would help my dark circles and help in the application of concealer. Most all that I have used have not provided enough moisture to keep my concealer from creasing and none have even come close to helping my dark circles. After reading many reviews on epinions.com, I decided to venture to the Clarins counter and try their Eye Contour Gel. The lady at the counter immediately turned my attention to their newest products - the Extra Firming Eye Contour Cream and Extra Firming Eye Contour Gel. At first, I thought that the products were not for me considering that I am only 24 years old but she seemed to think otherwise. I got the feeling that she was just trying to make a sale of their new product but I decided to give it a try. I asked her which one she recommended. I told her that I was more concerned with dark circles which would the gel would have been better for, but she looked at my eyes and told me that it looked like I could use the extra moisture so that I should go with the cream instead. I paid the ridiculously high price and took the cream home hoping for a miracle.
Well, I didn't get my miracle but the product impressed me more than any other eye cream I have tried to date. As soon as I put it on, the area under my eye became instantly firm. Some days, I have even applied it without even wearing concealer! Although those days have been few and far between, I have been using this product religiously ever since I bought it. The lady at the Clarins counter told me to just apply it at night, but I have found that it is a great cream to apply throughout the day before touching up my concealer. Although I may keep trying to find the "perfect" eye cream that provides both moisture and helps my dark circles, I certainly wouldn't mind paying the high price for this product again. It definitely does what it promises to do!
