Cons: Sampling 8X, Extra Magazines are $30, Slow & Steady
The Bottom Line: You can pay what you want but I think you will be pleased with this simple and solid unit from a great name in Audio "Clarion".

| claympc's Full Review: Clarion DC625 6-Disc CD Changer |
I bought this Changer for my 1996 Jetta GL with Clarion factory radio/CD changer(capable). To install on my vehicle it required the purchase of OEM Part # VW-CLR by PIE(Precision Interface Electronics). The install is very simple if you have the radio puller(Available @ Crutchfield). I have been impressed with the simplicity of the system and its overall performance for the price I paid $129.00, plus $27.00 for the Converter(#VW-CLR). I no longer have to listen to commercials on my radio, and I select what I want to hear with a simple push of the radio/CD control buttons(They are very intuitive by the way, no directions needed). If I run over something I should have missed anyway, most of the time the unit performs flawlessly. This is a simple but solid unit.
The sound quality and clarity is very nice as well. I am only not happy about paying $30 for additional magazines but I guess everything has to have a fault or two.
