cestvrai's Full Review: Clarisonic Skin Care Brush
I actually did not buy this product but borrowed my friend's brush for a few weeks (using an actual new brush for me, of course). I loved the brush, but if you are a regular spa visitor, it is unnecessary. However, if you are looking for a less expensive alternative to a spa facial, then I highly recommend it.
I loved the gentle oscillating brush that deep cleans and exfoliates vigorously without making the skin raw. The massaging action also was rejuvenating, which is great for the facial muscles and probably doesn't hurt the elasticity of your skin. I wasn't particularly impressed with the Clarisonic cleanser, but I believe it is not a problem to use your preferred cleanser.
For sensitive skin, I would highly recommend the delicate brush. Even that was a bit much after two minutes, and I definitely did not use any more than twice a week. I also recommend not using an exfoliating cleanser, and between a cream and foam cleanser, the foam was better.
In the end, I decided against the brush. At $195 for the initial brush and $25 replacement brushes, it was not worth it for me. I highly recommend it as a cost-effective alternative to spa facials that can be significantly more expensive over time.
