I LOVE Claritin, of course I liked the prescription better because with insurance it was super cheap. I found that taking other medicines for symptoms such as Tylenol sinus or Advil sinus just didn't work. Claritin took a few days before it kicked in, but as long as I take it everyday, I'm allergy free. Basically I took Claritin at the first signs of sinus pressure or watery eyes and found an Advil for my symptoms, together they got me through long work hours for the first two days...after that the Claritin kicked in and worked it miracles. I hadn't really suffered from allergies in a few years so I had completely forgotten the difference you feel when you aren't suffering from allergies. Little things like bad breath and nasal drainage are hidden creatures that crawl up on you slowly. I recommend anyone who feels icky sometimes, or tired for no reason to take Claritin for a few days and see if it helps...it totally worked for me!
