Not for the little ones

Pros:Lost of pockets, comfortable, carries big books
Cons:a little on the ugly side, things get lost in the backpack, hard to clean
The Bottom Line: Too heavy for people to carry around.
Alright, I made the mistake of buying this for my child and I realized this is a little too big for her. You can stuff this bag and it can be on the heavy side. Unless you want a child with a hunchback I would not recommend this backpack to your child unless they can handle carrying it. I like the Jansport bags because of their lifetime warranty's. However who has the time to return a bag when it breaks and wait weeks for another. Obviously you can't have your child go for weeks without a new backpack.
I would not recommend this backpack to children with scoliosis. I realized that many children don't even wear their backpacks the right way in the first place. I see tons of children wearing their backpacks on one shoulder or wearing it so low that it looks like it's going to fall off.
Overall, go buy one of those rolling backpacks.
