For people with oily or combination skin, these Clean & Clear Oil Absorbing Sheets have got to be one of the greatest inventions of the twentieth century, right up there with the Biore pore strips. Not only are they incredibly effective at performing the task they were created for, but they are also guaranteed to amaze everyone around when you use them.
No matter what products I try, I will always have an oil slick on my skin by midday. I swear, if I could collect the stuff we might have a new natural energy source on Earth. Until these sheets were invented, I made due with powder. When the glint from my oily face started blinding people around me, I would swab off with pressed powder. Unfortunately, powder doesn't actually remove the oil from your face, it just disguises it, so all that pore clogging gunk is actually still sitting on your face. Applying powder over and over also tends to ruin the overall effect of your carefully applied makeup.
These Oil Absorbing Sheets solve those problems. They come in a little packet, perfect for tossing in your purse. When you open the packet, you will see these pretty bright blue sheets. I personally like the blue color, because it is the oil shows up very well on it. I may be strange, but I get a perverse pleasure in seeing exactly what DID NOT make it into my pores. It also makes for a really fun game. I guarantee you that the first time people see you use these, they will be fascinated. More than likely, you will end up letting others try these and you can all compare your sheets to see who is really the greasiest. It makes for great office bonding. Even the men will get into the competition, it fits right into their favorite category: bodily functions.
Another great thing you should know, the Oil Absorbing Sheets don't disturb your makeup. As long as you are PATTING your skin with them, NOT WIPING it, all that will come off on the sheet is the oil. This makes them great for those nights out when you want to stay looking your best as long as possible.
Until somebody invents something that sucks the oil right out of your face for the entire day, I will be a faithful user of Clean & Clear Oil Absorbing Sheets.
