But what makes this product somewhat unique is the foamy consistency it contains verses the liquid like gel most other choices have. According to the short yet sweet packaging directions found on each bottle of Clean & Clear Continuous Control Acne Wash: Wet face and pump cleanser 2-3 times into your hand or cloth. Massage lather over face and neck. Rinse thoroughly. Replace overcap. I keep mine at the sink, so after splashing my face with cool to lukewarm water in the morning upon arising (depending on the time of year and how quickly I need to wake myself up!), I'll take one to two pumps of this foamy, rich lathering cleanser and apply it in a circular motion to completely cover my face. Then I rinse it clean away with more splashes of water until all of the foam is gone. Because my face becomes a grease pit overnight while I sleep, it's a necessity for me to cleanse the excess oil away immediately when I get up or my face certainly pays for not doing so later on! If I wait several hours and then remove the oil in the shower, the damage has already been done and I'll notice new blemishes erupt in just a matter of days.
