Acne is every teenagers' nightmare. We all have stories from high school of how we had a zit appear at just the wrong time. Unfortunately, sometimes you will find that that same problem can appear in adulthood as well. I am amazed at how acne can reappear just in time for a big meeting or other event. Now, just as I did then, I turn to Clearasil to help take care of my skin.

Clearasil Adult Formula does a great job taking care of those "spot clearing" needs that you may occasionally have. The product comes in a tube, filled with the usual white cream. This cream is applied directly to the blemish. In my experience, the cream begins to work immediately. Within 24 hours, I am able to see significant improvement in my skin. The cream does a somewhat annoying smell, but it is really no different than any other blemish control cream that I have used.

This cream can dry out the skin where it is applied. While other opinions have listed this as a negative, I disagree. After all, the point of using this cream is to dry out a blemish on your skin. When you apply this concentrated cream to one area, it goes without saying that you will find that area becoming quite dry. This is a side effect that you should expect, and not necessarily a negative one. This is simply the cream doing what it is designed to do.

One question I wanted to address here is this: What is the difference between Clearasil Adult and the regular Clearasil product? Honestly, I don't know. It may very well be the same cream in a different container. There is not much difference in the way the two creams work. The adult cream works just as well as the old Clearasil - maybe even better than it did when I was a teen. For your skin blemishes, Clearasil is still the brand of choice.
