Pros: dries out pimples
Cons: strips skin of natural moisture leaves random dry spots on face.
The Bottom Line: Sure it helps your acne, but then you will develop a new skin problem, dry flaky skin, which is irritated. I would not recommend this product.

| sneeky9988's Full Review: Clearasil Total Control Daily Skin Perfecting Trea... |
I have had problematic skin since I was about 11 years old, now ten years later I still do have acne, but its much better than before. I was at my local pharmacy looking for my regular Clearsil acne cream when I stumbled over their newest line Clearasil Total Control Daily Skin Perfecting Treatment; I read the box and wow it really sounds like a miracle. I got home and tried it immediately; the product is a whitish color and is sort of on the thicker side. It claims to fight pimples, and that it did; it dries out your pimples really quick. Another claim of this product is that it reduces shine. I must say that this is very true, unfortunately. I did not think that this product will actually reduce shine. It actually stripped my face of its natural moisture and made my skin tight feeling and very dry! so no you will not have shine, but you will feel dry and somewhat irritated. I had to put on moisturizer after my application. The box claims that this product moisturizes, but honestly that is not what happened. After continual use my face began to flake where I had my spots. It seems like it burned a layer of my skin. The product did reduce my acne scars slightly. My skin tone became somewhat more even, but trust me it was no miracle.
I used the product for a week and saw a difference in my acne, but I developed a new problem, flaky dry skin.
