Pros: It works fast and does not leave dry skin patches.
Cons: None.
The Bottom Line: It works, it doesn't smell, and it isn't visible when using it - that was good enough to convince me.

| 12judge's Full Review: Clearasil Vanishing Cream |
I used this cream much more regularly during my teenage years. Now that I am older, I still have the occasional battle with blemishes - ZITS! Nobody likes them.
Clearasil cream actually lives up to its name. It is a vanishing cream - it makes that pimples vanish. I have used it as needed for many years now and have always been satisfied.
Most important to me is that it works, otherwise, why am I using it. When I notice a pesky pimple, I will use this cream twice a day (morning and evening - sometimes only in the evening). Generally, the blemish clears up in a couple of days, and on several occasions I have noticed results overnight (this is not a miracle, but I have seen improvement overnight).
I like this cream because it is not too oily or greasy while at the same time it does not leave dry scaly patches on my skin where it was applied. There is a good balance. The cream gets rid of the zit but does not leave your skin overly dry.
Be careful not to put too much on inadvertently though because unlike the name the cream itself does not vanish. You must rub it in and if you use more than a small application you will end up with a smear of white residue on your face.
One time, by mistake, I picked up the "tinted" version. Supposedly this stuff blends in with your skin so you do not have that white residue if you apply too much. WRONG! Maybe this is true for you ladies who where makeup, but all I got was a nice beige/peach makeup colored spot on my face. It stuck out like a sore thumb. No thanks, not for me.
Finally, if you are looking for a deal, try the Equate version of this cream. It is a generic copy that usually is right next to the Clearasil on the shelf. I have used both and they work equally well. Both have the same active ingredient and the same amount of it. Both seem to remove blemishes with equal effectiveness. The Equate version runs for about $1-2 cheaper, though.
