I've been trying a variety of granola bars to change things up.  Clif White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Granola Bar has become my favorite crunchy granola bar judging by taste.  

I love macadamia nuts but they're very expensive and so hard to find.  The roasted macadamia nuts are ground into the bar so I never get a bite of macadamia, but there is a light barely noticeable flavor of the nut as I chew.  It's not as great as eating a genuine macadamia nut, but it will have to do.  

This is made with organic whole grain rolled oats which tastes distinctly fresh.  The bar is crunchy, but it doesn't seem like I'll break my teeth.  It almost melts in my mouth almost like an oatmeal cookie. 

Out of curiosity, I was wondering how they were going to get creamy chips in a dry bar.  There are itsy bitty creamy white chocolate chips throughout this bar virtually undetectable until a bite is taken.  If you think chocolate goes well with oats, wait until you try white chocolate.  I'm not even a fan of white chocolate, but these ingredients were made for each other.    

Think twice before calling this breakfast.  Like most granola bars the second ingredient is a sweetener.  In this case, organic Evaporated Cane Juice is used.  The granola bar is sweet, but not overly noticeable.      

Despite all the granola flavors I stock, this one usually ends up being my first choice to put in my purse to prevent starvation while running errands.  Some crumbs will fall off while transporting or eating, but that happens with all granola bars.  One of the reasons I pick this for future eats is because it always hits the spot no matter what I'm in the mood for.  The bar has 190 calories so it's perfect if it's the only thing I'm eating for a snack.  I'm also very content after eating a bar because it tastes delicious, its crunchy texture slows me down in order to enjoy it, and with 3 grams of fiber and 4 grams of protein it keeps me pretty content.

I have been getting these on sale for $2.50 for a pack of 5 (each individually wrapped package has 2 bars).  This is advertised as being "all natural" and 70% of the ingredients are organic.  The bars can usually be found in the organic aisle of my grocery store, but I've also seen them in the snack aisle at Target.   I think these may be new; they've only recently appeared on the shelves where I live.  Apparently I'm not the only one that likes this flavor because there's usually only a box or two left on the shelves compared to the other fully stocked flavors. 

Not only is this a delicious bar, everyone in my family likes it too which is a huge plus.  If you've had enough of dry tasteless granola bars, then this one is worth trying.
