My daughter has had some problems with acne. Her self esteem was going down hill and I needed to find a solution for her. We went to our dermatologist and she recommended that we try the products that Clinique offers. I gasped, because I knew how costly some of the products can be. It didn't take much thought...cost vs. self esteem is worth any price. She is a teenager and I know how awkward she feels at times because of her acne.
We went to the Clinique counter at Macy's. We got help from a very nice employee, she had an acne problem herself. This helped my daughter feel a little better about being at the Clinique counter to deal with this problem. We spent about an hour with the Macy's employee who was very helpful. She helped us select different products to help my daughter feel better about her acne.
One of the items we bought was the Clinique Acne Solutions - Concealing cream. This is the Clinique line of Acne Solutions products and is designed for the control of acne.
This product comes in different shades to match the color of your skin. The shades are limited to a couple of different colors because it is supposed to go under foundation which will cover the Acne Solutions Concealing Cream.
My daughter has been using this product for about a month now. It has really helped her appearance. We found out the following in the last month using the product:
Application
The Acne Solutions Concealer comes in a .34 fluid ounces, plastic tube. When we got it we felt it would not last that long. You only need a dab of this product to spot cover your acne. A little bit goes a long way. She puts about a pencil tip (for lack of a better comparison) size amount on her finger tip and applies it to most of the blemishes on her face. It goes on smoothly and blends well.
After she puts the Acne Solutions Concealer on she applies her foundation and is ready to go.
After about a week of using Acne Solutions Concealer my daughter's face started to get little dry patches where she had applied the product. This is what the product does, it dries out the acne and helps keep the acne under control. We were a little concerned about the dry patches so we called and asked the Clinique Professional at Macy's and she told us to apply the concealer once a day or every other day. This helped, my daughter now applies the product every other day.
Acne Solutions Concealer is 100 % Fragrance free.
I believe that the concealer has helped my daughter feel better about her acne.
