I have tried almost every "medicated" concealer on the market, and this is by far my favorite. I had a major acne breakout after having my baby, and have had a tendency to break out ever since. (and I am not talking about just a stray little blemish here and there!) My acne was clustered on my cheeks, chin, and neck area. I had problems with other concealers getting oily and shiny after a few hours of wear, and that would just draw more attention to the problem areas.
Then I started using this concealer. It is a little thick, but with practice it can be blended right into your foundation without any problems. The trick it to start blending right after you apply it. If you wait, it tends to "set", and it is not as easy to blend. This quality, though, is what makes this a long wearing concealer. I no longer have that "gummy" look in my problem areas. This concealer goes on really dry feeling, and doesn't run.
The salicylic acid in the concealer also helps to heal as you wear it, which I think is an added bonus. It really does help to dry up the blemish without over drying. It makes sense that you would want to use something to heal your skin instead of clogging up your pores, and causing more problems!
A little also goes a long way. I was a little stunned when I took the bottle out of the box and realized how small it was. But it only takes a small little dot to cover even some of the biggest pimples!
Not for use for undereye circles! This concealer is too drying for the delicate skin under the eyes.
I have extremely sensitive skin, and I can not even apply perfume to my neck without a breakout. This product has not caused one single problem on my neck or anywhere else!
