Pros: Cream has a nice texture, moisturises skin
Cons: Too greasy, made my skin breakout.
Why I bought it:
A little while ago, while I was going through my teenage years, my skin really went through a lot! I had oil problems and acne problems, as most teenagers tend to have.
One day I went to the Clinique counter and the lady recommended I try their range of products, which she assured would assist in my skin problems.
So I forked over the money, and taking her advice, tried the Clinique Turnaround Cream, hoping it would really fix my skin...
At the time I tried it, it was a new product and they had not yet released the Cream for Oily skins. So, using the normal formulation, I found the cream really oily. It moisturised my skin a lot, but that was not what I wanted it for. The cream I found was quite heavy and left a greasy film on the skin, under make up or worn alone. Maybe I was using too much!?
The morning after:
Every morning my face was even shinier to start with, so instead of assisting with my oil problem, it only added to it even more!
After several weeks of using it, my skin reacted badly to it and broke out, as well as breaking out in little white bumps which I think was from having my pores clogged with the extra layers of grease and heavy creams!
At that point I decided to stop using it. Honestly I'm not sure what I was thinking adding more and more grease to my face! It was sure to make it worse, and it did.
Who may like it:
This doesn't mean to say the cream is not good at all, but it definately was not for me, and I don't believe those with oily skins should even try it.
Those with drier skins should most definately benefit from this cream, because as I said it really does moisturise.
I'm not saying that the cream will make people break out, only in my case, and probably those who already have problem skin.
I won't be trying it again nonetheless. Although I hear the formula for oilier skins has been released.
