I'm 'hooked' on the Clipa... Genius product!

The Bottom Line: This is a BUY because it is simple and functional. Does what it says it would and is very sturdy! With germs out there - Clipa keeps it clean!

So since having kids, my wife and I have been very cautious with germs and keeping things clean. I never realized all the bags you had to carry when you have 2 little ones: purse, diaper bag, thermal milk/food bag, toy bag, and sometimes change of clothes bag. With all these bags my wife and I were looking for something to use on our stroller to 'hook' these suckers onto. There are a few diaper bag hooks that you can purchase, but they attached onto the stroller and only the stroller. Living in Southern California... we are a frequent visitor (season pass holder) of Disneyland, Legoland, Seaworld, and Universal Studios. There are times when you cannot bring your stroller to the attraction/show so what do we do with all the bags that we need to take along with us?
Enter the Clipa! The Clipa allows you to clip the bags onto the stroller when needed, but also is easily detached from the stroller and it automatically clips onto the strap that it was supporting. This is all done in one motion and is very functional in my opinion. Now here is the GENIUS part... you can now take the Clipa and your bag to the attraction and because it has such a great clearance from end to end... you can attach it to the railings, seat backs, fences, tables, or whatever else you can think of. So far we have been able to keep all our bags off the floor (imagine all the germs from all the tourist that come visit these amusement parks?) and the product is just as good as when we first bought it. My wife loves her Clipa so much so that I had to purchase a hematite colored one for myself that I use at the gym for my bag. I've also used it when I ride my motorcycle and need a place to hang my jacket AND helmet! Yup... this thing is really strong! I've seen other hangers online and in stores, but they look so fragile that I was afraid to even use them. But the Clipa is pretty sturdy and very easy to take along with you.
So my overall recommendation is that if you want to keep your personal belongings clean and safe... get the Clipa. There are so many different things you can use it for and best of all the price is outstanding! It was only $24.95, but I had to purchase it online: www.clipa.us - I have spoken to their customer service to see if they are planning to sell these in stores and they are rolling them out as we speak so hopefully we'll be able to pick them up in retail stores as well... but for now their website is more than enough. They have different colors and come with a warranty as well. So if you've got kids or have anything you wish you could hang vs putting on the floor or chair... get yourself a Clipa!
Update - 7/11/09 So I just wanted to add more details to my review to try to get the 'Very Helpful' rating. I have started to use the Clipa on my laptop bag (in case backpack for Macbook Pro 15 inch). Along with my laptop, my backpack also carries several notepads, AC adapters, USB cables, Bose headphones, a textbook, iphone, and several other small accessory items. Easily the bag weighs a lot more than my wife's. I clip it to the ledge of my desk or the corner of our conference room table or even on the back of my office chair. The thing is solid. No issue with functionality or quality. Pretty impressive. The Hematite color has a nice ruggedness to it. The Clipa stays on and i'm always ready to use it. Hope that additional info helps. One thing I also noticed is that there are rubber pieces at the end of both openings. I am assuming this is for grip, but it also helps to prevent the Clipa from scratching the surface it's hanging from.
