Pros: Fast shipping, Good quality, nice and compact
Cons: Only recieve K and Ka band, no lasers so far. Strobe alert does not work
The Bottom Line: My final recommendation is to choose the 10-band only if u know the cops in your area use laser signals, otherwise go with something cheaper and save yourself some money.

| ldhyani's Full Review: Cobra Electronics ESD 9210 Radar Detector |
I've been using it for about two weeks now. I drive two hours everyday on highways and cities and so far i have not received a single laser signal. The signals that seem to be most accurate are the K and Ka band. The X band goes off the most but it is usually a false alarm. The strobe alert went off once but i didn't see anything dangerous around. I've driven by ambulances but the strobe hasn't gone off so I think it is something that has to be available in your area.
I live in Wisconsin and most of the cops here use K and Ka band so I don't think it is worth it to get the 10-band when u're not even getting all those signals. All you need is the basic detector, something that detects K and Ka and most cops don't even keep their laser on so u still have to be careful. The strobe alert and vg-2 alert are not needed, the strobe alert has never worked for me. I basically use the radar just in case, but i find that it doesn't work all the time so i'm stuck going the speed limit until after 12 months, otherwise i get suspended. hehe ;)
