For those that don't expect everything

Pros: Good City Mode: Smart Works nice: compass is cool.

Cons: Seems to like K band a lot :-)

The Bottom Line: For my money, it works great. I would recommend it to anyone in the 100-200 price range.

Radar detectors are for one thing, to give you an edge when perhaps you aren't paying attention to the side of the road or that unmarked car behind you. If you are buying a radar detector for any other reason you are kidding yourself.

Put it this way, its a 100.00 radar detector, if you want it to function like a 400.00 radar detector you might be disapointed. For its price range it is one of the better models. It seems to have plenty of range and the alerts are nice and loud. City mode is better than most.
